Studio-wide Studio Study

Memories of Cheever Hall, MSU’s bastion of architectural education, flooded back as the Comma-Q studio gathered recently to take on the design of an artist’s studio, for reals. Terms such as “Shotgun toward the Crazies’, ‘Nestled Forms’ and ‘Art Bunker’ were tossed around as our design crew explored the creative potential of controlling daylight, providing building security, and accommodating building program. The artist’s studio is part of a new residence at the foot of the Crazy Mountains near Wilsall, Montana and currently on the boards at Comma-Q.
