In 2010, John and Courtney McKee contacted to help them locate and retrofit a building in historic uptown Butte into a distillery, Headframe Spirits. An old car dealership was found that provided the existing structural support needed to house the 8,000 lb tanks the distillery required. We provided master planning for the building, which included gems such as a black and white tiled floor hidden underneath decades old carpeting and a second story dance hall.
“What stood out to us working with Ben, Laura and the crew at Comma-Q was their parallel attention to both structural and convenience needs for us running the business, but also staying extremely true to the character of the building. We loved their ability to repurpose areas and ensure the fit and flow is perfect,” stated owner Courtney McKee.
