The Fry Residence began as a remodel. But, after assessing the condition of the home and foundation, it became apparent that our client’s budget would not accommodate resuscitating the circa 1900 home on the corner of Peach and North Church. New construction wasn’t the original plan, but became apparent that it was the best method of providing our client with a quality home within his budget. We then provided three sets of plans, all of which utilized the existing footprint of the home and retained the original’s look and character. The result was a 1200 square foot, highly efficient home using stacked rooms to minimize energy costs and an interesting industrial interior.
