Eck Hall has been converted into one of the most technologically advanced buildings on the campus at University of Montana. Formerly known as the Liberal Arts Building, Eck Hall continues to be one of the most heavily utilized buildings on campus serving faculty and thousands of students who take more than 600 classes in 30 classrooms each year. This multi-year renovation involved upgrades to classrooms and outdated mechanical systems to improve temperature control and provide a healthy and productive environment for building users. Classrooms were renovated with new finishes and technological advancements including videoconferencing, interactive smart boards and video walls. Every attempt was made to bring in more light, improve acoustics, as well as overall safety and accessibility throughout the building.
