The intersection of 19th and Main carries thousands of cars per day and is unique to the urban texture of Bozeman. 1919 W Main contributes to Bozeman’s urban fabric through its role as the coolest strip mall in town. The building responds boldly to context through its form and materials. Comma-Q considered the importance of visibility, traffic counts and site opportunities to achieve modern landmark status. A careful and creative process led to a building design that responds to pedestrians and high-speed vehicular traffic.
