Where to build a new College of Business sparked some strong opinions Thursday on the Montana State University campus. Parking, costs and community access were concerns voiced at a noon public forum, attended by about two dozen people.

The public pay parking lot across Grant Street from the SUB is one of three final sites being considered for the new College of Business.… Two other sites under consideration are the reserved parking lot next to Hamilton Hall, which is used by the president and other central administrators, and the grassy area just downhill from Wilson Hall, east of the new Chemistry Research building.…

MSU is planning to build a new $18 million College of Business, thanks to a $25 million donation from furniture entrepreneur and alum Jake Jabs.… MSU is planning to make it an environmentally friendly, LEED-certified “silver” building, said Bozeman architect Ben Lloyd.
