Monforton School

Jan 2011 Project-Type:

Significant enrollment increases and the goal of improving existing conditions at this small school west of Bozeman led the Monforton School District Board of Trustees to ask voters for a $3.5 million dollar bond to renovate and add classrooms. The project improves existing electrical and heating & air handling systems and relocates the kindergarten, first and second grade children out of the pre-1900 era south school. Classrooms will be added to the north school, last updated in 1992, in order to accommodate the youngest students and to provide additional instruction space.

Comma-Q Architecture has led a planning team composed of resident and business community members since late 2009.
